Timothy Wayne Hendricks

July 1, 1969 - March 8, 2023

Timothy “Timmy” Wayne Hendricks, 53, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on
March 8, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Timmy is the son to Bonnie Dickerson and stepson to Roger Dickerson; husband of 35 years to Lisa Hendricks; father to Josh Hendricks (Amanda) of Goode, Va, Dylan Hendricks, and Madison Hendricks both of Lynchburg, VA; brother to Stephen Dudley (Christy) and Heather Neighbors (Jared) both of Rustburg, Va; grandfather to Kylie and Leighann Hendricks.

He was an avid lover of the outdoors, hunting, and boating. He was also the ultimate sports fan when it came to the Virginia Cavaliers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Atlanta Braves. Timmy knew no stranger and all loved him through a laugh, life lesson, a hug, or a simple conversation. Simply put, he was one of the good ones.

The family is so thankful to all who have helped and prayed for Timmy throughout his journey. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for those to consider a donation to the Pearson Cancer Center, Hyland Heights Baptist Church, or Waymaker Church in Forest, Va.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Timmy on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mountain Ridge in Rustburg. The address is 2043 Campbell Hwy, Rustburg, Va 24588.

Tharp Funeral and Crematory, Lynchburg is assisting the family.
