Dorothy “Bunny” Houck Saleeby
Dorothy “Bunny” Houck Saleeby, died on September 20, 2022, in Ponte Vedra, Florida after a difficult battle with cancer. Born on November 13, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Judie Perkins Houck and Thomas Langhorne Houck.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Joyce Cyrus Houck and her daughter, Suzanne Saleeby Alqudah (Mohamad), a devoted sister, Kay Houck Tasso (Eric) and special niece, Christina Kay Tasso.
In addition, Bunny was predeceased by her mother and twin brothers, James Langhorne Houck and infant brother, Joseph Thomas Houck.
A native of Lynchburg, Virginia, “Bunny” was a graduate of E. C. Glass High School and the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Interment will be for family at Spring Hill Cemetery on October 29, 2022. Immediately following the interment, a memorial service and celebration of Bunny’s life will be held at 11 a.m. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 601 Clay Street, Lynchburg, VA.
