Joan Bachman Lollis

Joan Bachman Lollis was born bright-eyed in Greenville South Carolina, on Jan 9, 1951, and she died on June 5, 2023 in Lynchburg Va., secure in all the hearts who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father Robert Leon Lollis Sr., her step-father Henry Fishkin, and her brother Charlie Lollis.

She is survived by her mother Margaret Burks Fishkin, brother Bob Lallis (Breenan), sister Harriet Lollis, step brother Will Fishkin (Janet), Tom Fiskin (Michelle), Step sisters Beth Restarino (Joe), Karen Burger (Ken), and a tribe of nieces and nephews.

Throughout her life Joan was known for her keen interest in other people, and the variety of her undertakings. She was usually accompanied by an assortment of animals, mostly cats and dogs.

In recent years she has enjoyed the blessings of love and support from her two- legged friends and family. In turn she “made a difference” in many lives.

As she was greatly treasured,
she will be greatly missed.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.

The E. C. Glass Class of '69 sends our deepest sympathy to Joan's family. We were so glad that she attended our 50th Reunion. She will always be remembered by her classmates. I will attach some photos.
