Karen Amelia Gallagher Bowers went to be with Jesus on June 13th, 2022, after a long, painful and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by the two great joys of her life Mary Hannah Bowers and Annastin Amelia Bowers as well as her truly loving and dedicated partner Jerrold Woods, Jr. all of Hoschton, GA. Karen graduated from Lynchburg public schools, E. C. Glass High School and Bauder College of Fashion Design in Atlanta, GA. She was briefly employed in the retail industry and by a financial group but most of her tireless energy was devoted to the loving care and support of her daughters. She will always be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. She was the most dedicated mother who always put her girls before herself. Karen, Mary Hannah, and Annastin were truly the three best friends with the strongest bond that will never be broken.
