Odis Norman Frost, 61, of Amherst, Va, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, VA.
Norman was born August 30, 1960, in Welch, West Virginia to the late Harold Frost and Ethel Lean (Lester) Frost.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Jackie Frost, Hubert Frost and Truman Frost, two sisters, Gerrie Frost and Faith (June) Parker, and one niece, Angelia Casey.

Norman is survived by two brothers Everett Frost and wife Evelyn of Bluefield, Virginia, Ernest Frost and wife Rita of Bluefield, West Virginia. Four sisters Irene Hylton of Princeton, West Virginia, Darlene Newton and Michael of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Lorraine Clark of Bedford, Virginia and Tammy Frost Almond and husband Bill of Lynchburg, Virginia and brother-in-law, Richard C. Parker of Sebring, Florida. He is also survived a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Linda Burks Group Home, for the care that you gave Norman for the last 14 years. Another special thanks to Lynchburg General Hospital, 5th floor, room 555 for the loving care that you gave Norman during his last moments.

In lieu of flowers or gifts memorial contributions may be made to the Linda Burks Group Home, 1050 Bob White Road, Amherst, VA 24521.

A Funeral service for Norman will be held on Saturday, June 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg, VA with Speaker Bill Almond officiating the service. The family will receive friends and relatives at Tharp Funeral Home on Saturday, June 4, 2022, one hour prior to the service at 12 noon. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 6, 2022, at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia.
